Why update a note acceptor?

Australia will be receiving a full range of Australian Bank Notes which will be released in 2016.

All note accepting devices will need to be updated to be able to accept the new Australian notes.

How to Update A Note Acceptor?

there are 2 options available

Option 1:

Option 2

PRO-2 HANDHELD PROGRAMMER [APEX 7000 SERIES ONLY]

The Pro-2 programmer is very easy to use. Just plug it into the flash port of the Apex 7000 acceptor and it will do the update automatically. Takes an average of 60 seconds to complete.

Firmware files are programmed onto the Pro-2 unit via USB PC cable. Free Pro-2 Tools PC software can be downloaded from the Pyramid website. www.pyramidacceptors.com

Once the Pro-2 Programmer is loaded with the latest firmware, its just a matter of moving it from one acceptor to another.
